Role: You play as Captain Scott Mitchell, leading a team of "Ghosts" to restore order in Mexico City amidst a coup.
Setting: The game takes place in a detailed 2013 Mexico City.
Gameplay: It is a tactical shooter focused on squad-based combat. You command AI teammates, utilize cover, and employ a variety of weapons and support assets.
Technology: The game features a futuristic system called the "Cross-Com," which allows you to see what your teammates and drones see, and to call in artillery and air strikes.
Perspective: The Xbox 360 version uniquely allows players to choose between third-person and first-person perspectives during the campaign.
Cover system: A system is in place to allow players to take cover and fire, though some found that using corners and crouching was often more effective.
Multiplayer: The game also includes both cooperative and competitive multiplayer modes.
