Story: After becoming the US President, the player and their gang are attacked by aliens. The player must rescue their fellow Saints from a virtual world and defeat the alien warlord Zinyak.
Gameplay: The game is set in a large, open-world sandbox environment where the player can use a variety of vehicles and weapons.
Superpowers: A new feature in the series is the ability to gain superpowers, such as super speed, super jumps, and telekinesis, which are earned within the simulated world to progress through the story.
Character customization: Players have extensive options to customize their character's appearance, including gender and physical features.
Setting: The majority of the game takes place inside a virtual simulation of Steelport, but the player is also able to visit the real world.
