Maximo for the PlayStation 2 (PS2) is a 3D action-adventure and platformer game where players control the valiant knight Maximo on a quest to save his kingdom from the evil Achille. Inspired by the Ghosts 'n Goblins series, it features challenging hack-and-slash combat using a sword and shield, a focus on challenging platforming, and a collectible currency system for continues after death. The PAL version is designed for regions that use the PAL television standard.
